SCOTT’S PROTEIN BALLS TAKES OVER THE HAMPTONS THIS SUMMER NOW SOLD IN OVER 90 LOCATIONS INCLUDING THREE CITARELLA STORES

Company’s Snacks Fueling Premier Fitness, Wellness & Celebrity-Filled Events

New York, NY (August 1, 2023) Scott’s Protein Balls® is continuing to grow and make its mark in the Hamptons and beyond as it rapidly expands to more locations including top specialty store Citarella, and consumer favorite specialty markets Provisions, Cromer’s Market, Schiavoni’s Market, among others. Founded in 2020, the recipe for Scott’s Protein Balls was created by Scott Levine, Co-Founder and CFO, for his wife Lori who after a battle with breast cancer was looking for a clean, soy-free, low-sugar snack to take on the go. Lori wanted a healthy alternative that didn’t sacrifice taste.

“Becoming a part of the Citarella family was a significant milestone for us,” says Lori Levine, CEO and Co-Founder. “We know they have a reputation for selecting products that meet exceptional standards for its customers.” Scott’s Protein Balls are also available in King Kullen, Golden Pear, Wild by Nature, East Hampton Indoor Tennis, The ClubHouse, and many more. “We are averaging approximately one to three new retail partnerships each month,” adds Lori.

“Scott’s Protein Balls are a perfect fit for our stores,” says John Rosenblum, Head Buyer at Citarella. “Our customers expect top-quality snacks. I rarely come across protein snacks that must be refrigerated because of their healthy ingredients. That speaks for itself. I am thrilled they are now part of the Citarella family.”

In July, Lori and Scott were honored at the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation’s Hamptons Happening event, a prestigious annual event that recognized the company for its growth and commitment to cancer research. “Being honored last month as an emerging entrepreneur really reinforced that we are on the right path,” says Lori.

Continuously dedicated to introducing its snacks as a healthy satisfying protein source to consumers of all ages, Scott’s Protein Balls have also been appearing at top-notch events since the start of the summer, including HMI’s School’s Out Benefit, Holiday House Hamptons, Rufus Wainwright’s Montauk Lighthouse Benefit, Cancer Schmancer, and more. The company will also be supporting Hope for Depression’s upcoming Walk of Hope + 5K Run and Ellen’s Run.

In addition to its rapid expansion in the Hamptons, Scott’s Protein Balls can be found at multiple airports and stores throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Texas, and North Dakota, www.scottsproteinballs.com, on Amazon.com and Walmart.com.

  • Lori Levine is an eternal optimist and after undergoing breast cancer treatment, she learned she had to upgrade her snacks to upgrade her health. She and her husband Scott became accidental entrepreneurs after he lovingly created quality protein balls made from tasty, easily recognizable ingredients that are as convenient as they are healthy and delicious! Even better? 1% of all sales are donated to Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) to help support breast cancer research. #betheend.
